Shoo Raynor visit

Class 3 thoroughly enjoyed the visit by the well known author and illustrator Shoo Raynor this week. The children asked lots of interesting questions including why he was called Shoo!! 

Then Shoo read the children one of his books 'Super Dad'.

After that he showed the children how he does the illustrations.

Then he worked with the class and helped them to draw their own 'Super Dad'. The children loved doing their own drawings which were amazing.

We had a fantastic day and hope that Shoo can come back again soon!!

Visit by Story Teller

This week we had a visit from a Story Teller who told us the story of 'Supertato' the super hero potato who rescued the other vegetables from the Terrible 'Frozen Pea'. The children loved the story so much  we just had to get it for our class library!!

This week in Class 3

This week the children enjoyed designing and making sandwiches 'Fit for a Super Hero'. 

Keeping Busy in Class 3

Last week we were all 'Super Heroes ' as we helped to rescue our class puppet WALT from the baddies! We were able to give the correct directions in order to find him.

We also enjoyed looking really carefully at a variety of fruits. Then we used Art Pencils and Charcoal to draw what we had seen.
