Sunflowers

Class 3 have been very busy planting sunflowers this week. All the children have each planted a sunflower in a pot which they are going to decorate and hopefully sell in order to raise money to help an endangered animal. They have also planted sunflowers in pots and containers to improve our outdoor area and to learn all about looking after plants and the environment. All we need now is some sun!!

Dino-Mania!!

Class 3 have been busy researching information about dinosaurs this week. The children read  books and searched a dinosaur website to find out information which they then presented to the class. All the children worked really hard and we enjoyed listening to all the presentations. We then used trundle wheels and meter sticks to measure out how long the dinosaurs actually were. We were amazed to see how long some of them were. Well done everybody.

Bread Making

Class 3 had a visit from Brace's Bread on Wednesday. During the workshop the children found out how bread is made. We had a lovely smell of baking bread wafting in the class all day. Eventually the children enjoyed tasting the bread they had made! Scrumptious!!
