Trip

 We had a lovely trip today. The children enjoyed their Woodland Walk where they found out about the animals and plants that live in our forests. We also visited the Glass Dome and saw lots of plants from hot places. The weather was glorious and all the children were very well behaved. It was a pleasure taking them. 

Food Miles

 Class 3 enjoyed finding out about where a variety of foods come from. 

New Year

MThe children have settled back to school after their Christmas Holiday. This term our topic is Growing Things. They enjoyed a walk around the school grounds to look at all the plants growing. Back in class they got to look at bulbs,seeds and plants with magnifiers. They also looked at a variety of books to find out information on growing plants.

Be Bright

Class 3 had fun today wearing their Bright clothes and completing the obstacle course they had designed.

Christmas Concert

MWell done to Y1 and Y2 for all their hard work and their fabulous performance in their Christmas Concert last week. A big thank you too to all parents for sending in their wonderful costumes. 

Pudsey

The children had fun dressed up in their pyjamas today. We raised £35.80 in class. Thanks to all parents/ guardians for your support.

Busy Week

IThe children had fun on their trip to the Bakery on Tuesday. They enjoyed meeting the baker and sampling the delicious bread!

On Wednesday the children made jelly as they have been investigating how materials change when they are heated or cooled.
