Class 3 Assembly

Well done Class 3 for the way you all took part in our Class Assembly today. I was very proud of you all. I'm sure that all your families were proud of you too. Here are some lovely photographs for you to see.

Easter Events

We all enjoyed the Egg Pacing yesterday. Well done to everyone for taking part and helping to keep this old Llanhari tradition alive!!

Also, well done to everyone who took part in the Easter Hat Competition, thanks to all parents for your support. The hats were all fantastic.

Book Week

We have been busy this week celebrating Book Week. The children have been writing and making their own books. They investigated which Nick Butterworth Percy The Park Keeper story was their favourite. They all enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book character on Friday.

Class 3 Trip

We had a lovely day at Cefn Mably Farm Park today. All the children enjoyed feeding and handling some of the animals. The children loved playing in the indoor and outdoor play areas too. Everybody was extremely well behaved and were a pleasure to take.

Red Nose Day

We all had fun 'making our faces funny for money' yesterday.

All About Animals

Class 3 have been finding out all about animals. Last week we designed zoo enclosures for animals from Hot and Cold countries.

We also had fun putting animal names into alphabetical order.

We have also been measuring the weather and even had fun trying to catch the snow!

Happy New Year!

The children have been really busy back in school this week. Our new topic is Mini-zoo and we have been talking about our own pets and other animals that live in the locality. The children have also been  talking about our new Vets role play area and have had lots of good ideas about what they want to include in it.
