Pirate Attack

We all enjoyed our Pirate Attack Workshop today. The children learned a lot and had fun too. They even got to see me put in the stocks and walk the plank. Luckily for me most of them voted to allow me out of them eventually!

Beans!

After lots of hard work this week we managed to pick our bumper crop of broadbeans which we made into a dip and ate with breadsticks.

Folly Farm

We all had a lovely day today in Folly Farm. The children enjoyed seeing the animals and really liked playing in the adventure parks too. They were all really well behaved. It was a pleasure taking them!

Book Day

KWe all had fun today dressed as Book Characters. Thanks to all parents for your support. Also the children decided to buy a Bird Bath and Bird House with the money they raised from their plant sale. Thanks for buying them. 

Roller Skating

Well done to all the boys and girls who took part in the Roller Skating Session on Wednesday. Great fun was had by all!

Easter Activities

We all enjoyed the Fun Easter Activities yesterday. Year 2 were very well behaved and polite during the Easter Service at the church. After that all the class enjoyed taking part in the Egg Pacing and Easter Hat Parade. Thanks to all parents for your support. The Easter Hats were amazing!

Sports Relief

We all had fun on Friday completing our 'Mini-Olympics' to raise money for this good cause. Well done everybody.

Road Safety

 A big well done to all the boys and girls in Y2 for successfully completing their Pedestrian Road Safety today. A big thank you to our parent volunteers for helping too.

Trip

 We had a lovely trip today. The children enjoyed their Woodland Walk where they found out about the animals and plants that live in our forests. We also visited the Glass Dome and saw lots of plants from hot places. The weather was glorious and all the children were very well behaved. It was a pleasure taking them. 

Food Miles

 Class 3 enjoyed finding out about where a variety of foods come from. 

New Year

MThe children have settled back to school after their Christmas Holiday. This term our topic is Growing Things. They enjoyed a walk around the school grounds to look at all the plants growing. Back in class they got to look at bulbs,seeds and plants with magnifiers. They also looked at a variety of books to find out information on growing plants.
